Our heritage
Tact Beauty Care has been founded on the basis of the rich heritage which the Souroulides family has carried-on for the past three generations.
Looking back in the middle of the 19th century around 1850 in the city of Smyrna, at the time a Greek flourishing cultural and commercial center of the East (now Izmir, Turkey), we can trace the family’s initial steps at the beauty care sector through the formation of a pharmacy store - based on herbal and substance remedies.The great-great grandfather of the Souroulides family, Panagiotis Xanthopoulos, with a keen insight on personal care products, handcrafted in his own workshop various bar soaps based on pure olive oil, vegetable oils and natural extracts and distributed them to Smyrna and major European cities.
Since 1922, as Smyrna was evacuated by its Greek population, the business moved to Athens, Greece. The family through Efstratios & Aphrodite Souroulides remained passionate and focused on its values; as a result commerce of premium handcrafted soaps once again flourished.
In 1962, Hector, Jason and Maria Souroulides formed Rolco BIANIL S.A, and expanded their business to include home care products, while new facilities were developed in order to standardize the traditional methods of personal care products and the art of soap making.
Nowadays, with more than 150 years of rich experience the traditional family business has been combined with modern research & development and formed Tact Beauty Care, which is still guided by the same founding principles and authenticity the Souroulides family has inherited.

At Tact Beauty Care we are committed to developing natural products. We have a strong focus on R&D in order to provide consumers with state-of-the-art products that are environmentally friendly and beneficial to the skin.

• To use natural cleansers deriving from olive, coconut and almond
• To ban petrochemical cleansers, SLES, Artificial colors, Parabens and other dangerous preservatives from all our products
• To utilize entirely recyclable packaging
• To continue our policy of not testing our products on animals
